Biography
Welcome to my UCLA ARAM web page. I am pursuing the PhD degree at UCLA under the direction of Prof. Yahya Rahmat-Samii. I received the BSEE degree from Cal Poly, Pomona in 1986, summa cum laude, and the MSEE degree from Caltech in 1987. After serving as a member of the Voyager II Neptune Radio Science flight team, I developed an interest in satcom tracking antenna systems and have done research and development on antenna systems at JPL, KVH, Malibu Research Associates, United Research and L-3 Communications' Datron Advanced Technologies Division.
Research Interests
I am researching methods for fast optimization of reflector systems.
