Biography
Ilkyu Kim is currently pursuing a Ph.D degree under the supervision of Prof. Yahya Rahmat-Samii in the Antenna Research, Analysis, and Measurements (ARAM) laboratory. He is currently working on link budget analysis, horn antennas, reconfigurable antenna and system. He was granted the MS degree from University of Southern California. He obtained the BS degree from HongIk university, Seoul in Korea. He worked as a research engineer in Samsung Advanced Institution of Technology from 2006 to 2008. In Samsung, he conducted some researches on mobile applications such as reconfigurable antenna and system, MIMO antennas and indoor channel modeling.
Research Interests
His current research interests include the wide areas of link budget analysis, wireless power transfer, horn antennas and reconfigurable antenna and system.
