Nanbo Jin was born in Dalian, Liaoning, China. He
received his B.S. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in July 2003
with distinction and M.S. degree from UCLA in June 2005, both in
electrical engineering. He is now pursuing his Ph.D. degree under the
direction of Prof. Yahya Rahmat-Samii.
In August 2001 he joined the State Key Laboratory on Microwave Digital
Communications, Tsinghua University. Since September 2003 he has been working as
a research assistant in UCLA antenna Lab. His research interests include
microstrip antennas, antenna arrays, periodic structures, reconfigurable antennas and
evolutionary optimization techniques for electromagnetic applications. He is a student
member of IEEE AP and MTT societies. He is also a reviewer of several technical
journals. |
