Fractal Antenna Simulation Methods
The fractal antennas are mostly simulated using a Method of
Moments code developed here at UCLA.

current-based method for complex structures.," IEEE Transactions on
Antennas and Propagation, Vol. 45, No. 2, pp. 265-276, February
1997.
Using a moment method requires discritizing the antenna into pieces.
To simulate and fabricate these antennas they must be approximated.
Only several iterations of the fractal generating process can be used
in the construction of the antenna. Here, typically only three or
four iterations are used to generate the fractal geometries. Thus,
the simulation is not of a true fractal. However, by simulating
several iterations of the fractal, the trends point to the behavior of
an ideal fractal antenna.
A good list of NEC, a free moment method code, resources can be found here.
